1988 Dolphin 2740 - 27'

Hi Everyone, I am new to the site and just adopted my very first motorhome. I don't have her home yet, I am waiting for my rv slab to be put in, in 2 weeks, but am excited to get her home.

She has oxidation to clean up, (she came up from florida, from a woman who lost her husband, and she doesn't drive.) The inside fabrics are in excellent shape and this couple still had every manual, parts guide, and instructions from every single thing in the motorhome. Even the original purchase pamphlet. Everything was really taken care of nicely.

I do plan to make new slip covers for the original fabrics, to keep them in the great shape they are in. This will update the look inside, but also protect the original fabrics from my two puppies.

I'll post pictures as I redecorate. It will probably be another 3 weeks or so before I can bring her home, because after the parking slab is done, it still needs to cure.

I look forward to looking around the site and learning from everyone, I am a newbie with a rv, I have only tent camped. I am 53 and plan to retire soon, so this is my trial motorhome to see if I like it, etc.

Hi Annamarie:
I too just purchased a 1990 National Dolphin 2750 from an RV broker in Costa Mesa, CA. this past August. It too was in very good condition with all the manuals of newer appliances added. This is also my wife's and my first time to RV. So far, we have gone out almost every other weekend to nearby campgrounds about 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours from where we live in Lincoln, CA. This is also our "trial" RV to see if we liked RVing. So far, we just loved the RV and the weekends away in the RV.
