Unhappy 1988 Pace Arrow No Power

So, I was replacing the starter, may have got the wrong starter, not sure right now.

Here is my problem, no power. No power to the starter, no power to the headlights. Hit the brakes, no power. Radio is wired to the engine battery, but does not come on. The levelers do not operate, no power.

No Power for the drive train services.

Checked all visible fuses, high and low, but not sure if I found all of them. The solenoid's for the coach and main click when I push the buttons.

Any clue where to look or to jump or test. Please help!

Check the main cable from the battery to the starter solenoid, sounds like poor contact there. that cable that goes to the starter might be corroded and or shorted, did you have the starter tested prior to replacing it? You can hook a jumper from the Positive battery terminal to the large terminal on the starter which if you get everything back means that cable is junk and your starter was probably still ok! Bobby

Do you have any test equipment such as a volt meter or test light? Will make life much simpler to find this issue if you do. Have you pulled both cables off the battery and cleaned connections? How about the ground cable where it bolts to the chassis or engine? Another simple test turn on your lights even if they really do not come on, leave them on for a minute or so and then start feeling battery connections and follow both cables. When you find a hot spot there is your high resistance problem. If you do not find anything there than get your battery check.

And lastly check both ends of the ground cable, remove, clean, and tighten them up.
