1988 Toyota Minnie Winnie

I am looking for any ideas for either making the cab over bed in my 1988 Minnie Winnie wider, or possibly lowering the bed a little for more head room. Any suggesstions would be much appreciated.

First, let me say welcome! You came to the rite place for this question! There are a bunch of people here that can help you!
I would think making it wider would be simple, get a piece of plywood thick enough to support a wider mattress and glue and screw a piece of 1x4 under the lip, then cut a piece of the same 1x4 at the right angle for braces to support the over hang!
As for making it taller? That is a whole other question that will require a whole lot more planning! Good luck! Rail!
