Hello fellow RV'ers. I have a question for those experienced RV'ers out there regarding the aforementioned motorhome (in the title). Amazingly everything works very well on this thing. It still needs a muffler and front-end alignment and those are in the works. My question; where can you find an inexpensive replacement awning for these things? I've searched a bit but everything I've found thus far is $500+. I only need the fabric, not the entire thing...and I can replace it myself. It's basically the only item remaining that would make it look so much better. Personally, I think Camping World is rather expensive for their product line that is mostly made in China. Forget the RV places...they want to sell you everything but what you need - including a new RV! Thanks so much!

PS. These posts and threads and things confuse me so if you would, please email me your response to Ron at lisas3503@comcast.net

E-BAY you can find some good price if your not to picky on the color you want. I have seen them as low as a couple hundred for 24'. Just use common sense when shopping and check the sellers feedback if they have any negative you want to know why and if they correct problems. I try to only buy from 100% seller but sometimes you can't so Caveat emptor

Try a fabric store, somewhere that sells upholstery material.

I think PPL had awning replacement fabric for about $190 for upto 18'. Go online and check out the prices. Also just google awning replacement fabrics.

I was going to talk with Carefree Awning about replacement fabric. They seemed pretty reasonable, and willing to supply vinyl or acrylic fabrics in any of the colors they sell new awnings in.
