1990 1/2 Bounder Water Tank

So, I can't seem to find a "fill" location other than thru a connected hose from the water source (house water spigot, etc.). Even then, I'm required to turn a valve to fill the tank. No problem.

However, I'm wanting to run a bleach/water solution into the tank and throughout the system to sanitize it.

How do I do this? I have my own idea, but it is SO nuts that I'm sure thre's a better way.

I would just add the bleach to the hose prior to hooking it up to the spigot. That's how I do it when I sanitize ours, and it even has a regular tank fill hole.

I knew it did not make sense that this rig, or any rig, would not have a "fill" neck somewhere. Part of my problem is related to lack of use of the motorhome. Upon walking around and reacquainting myself with my own rig, I found a small compartment about chest high that was specific for the purpose of filling the water tank. So over this past weekend I drained, filled with a water/bleach solution, ran it through the lines until I smelled bleach through all the faucets, and then drained and refilled.

Problem solved.

It's my understanding that some of the newer rigs do not have a 'fill' spout, but rather a hose connection and a system of valves that direct the water to the tank or to the plumbing.

Either way, I'm glad you figured it out!
