Read the post we are talking about a inverter that the factory provided to run only
the front TV and DVD nothing else.
It sits very close to both items and is not connected to anything else nor can it be.
If it also powered the rest of the coach where other items could be used I would
agree.

I have a demotions 100 watt inverter I want to take out! It has four battery looking wires to it and one 110 wire that plugs into an outlet. If I simply cut the four wires and wire nut them there would be no problems?? I assume if I put a volt meter on them I would find a positive and ground I can put a litter plug on for my new inverter?????

Just looked at mine. Large red wire 12 volt positive
Large white battery ground
Small purple not sure but is a control line
Black cord is AC input
Electrical output socket for two plug in's

You can make sure you have all power disconnected then you can cut each wire starting with the 12 volt lines then tape them so they do not
short to each other or something else.
The 12 volt leads can be used to power your new inverter they are 10
gauge.

No
the AC (120 volts) input is when you are plugged into shore power.
This is the way it works. When plugged into shore power AC power is
sent to this inverter where a relay is closed to you get power out to the
TV and such. When not on shore power the inverters switch over relay
is opened and the inverter put AC power to the outlet .
The small purple wire comes from the main power control board located
where the breakers and house fuses are, it controls the relay.
