Well it's almost a vintage Motor Home !
Question and assistance needed. My exterior door lock assembly is giving me trouble and needs to be replaced. I found one on e-bay but the prices are out of this world.
Does anyone have expierence replacing the Bargman L 300 with a Trimark lock assembly ?

Replaced the springs in mine and it works great. No sagging handle and no half closed door.

I did that last year but the spring slots on the casing are worn through and the spings just fall into the handle.Being that is cast alum poses a problem. Since my posting I sent an e-mail request to Trimark to see if they have a suitable replacement the same size and specs. Guess I'll see.
Thanks for the reply!

I used JB weld to repair the castings and re-used the original springs as they were in good shape. I've not had any problems and we're full timing in it right now.
I think PPL has a rebuild kit for the Bargman lock assy's

I did purchase the Bargman rebuld kit from e-bay that has all the new parts.
The coach is in storage in Charlotte for the winter, when I get down there in a few weeks I will look at the JB weld suggestion for a solution for the repair.
Thanks I appreciate the recomendation.
