What ever they are, they sure look in horrible shape and I would like to replace 'em, but I don't know what they are! Some sort of breaker? A relay?

My Flair has a Chev 454 drive train. "Forward Control Chassis" model.

Circuit breaker's, maybe 15 to 20 amp. My unit has the same for the roof mounted SOLAR PANEL, which is on top of the front AC. Probably looks will not affect operation, just looks bad. Take a wire brush to them and clean the terminals real good, then spray with BATTERY CORROSION SPRAY found @ NAPA.Good luck and travel safe.

CIRCUIT BREAKER

Thermal breakers. Those are in terrible shape as are the connectors. I would replace the connectors versus just cleaning them.

You can get the circuit breakers at any auto parts store, cheaper then the RV store. Make sure that you get the right size. From the size of the wire they may be 40 amp. When you cut off the connectors be sure to go back to good wire, it may be oxidized for a couple of inches.

They were 30 amp breakers.

I found em at NAPA. I cleaned up every single stinkin' electrical connection I could find underneath the hood. New connectors on wires to the breakers. It was a 4 hour job. But now I know everything is correct.

Next: fighting with the starting system on the generator (Onan 4000 4BGE)

Here is a Tip on cleaning up wire connectors and other electric stuff, get a small tube of dielectric grease at most auto parts stores. After you clean or replace connectors, coat them with a dab of this greae, it helps to prevent future corrosion, keeps out moisture and helps to make a connection better, learned this from working on boats, boats guys coat eveything electric with this stuff, can't hurt, but can surely help
