New Gauge Panel from IssPro
I sent my old gauge panel off to IssPro and they replaced ALL the gauges and had it back to me in 4 days,,$533 for the rebuild, $544.00 total shipped. Great great outfit, they are the best. My fuel gauge wasn't reading and it still isn't so its time to check the fuel tank sending unit. At least now everything else works, namely the odometer so i can see the miles and guesstimate fuel consumption. With a 100 gallon diesel tank i'm not worried. They did a great job re-building it, they also put on a new cover panel i requested ,,, but it is kind of frosted and not clear,,, not sure why they did that as they are harder to read with the frosted plastic but its no biggie.

Led light bulbs
Replaced some bulbs with these led's. They have 80 SMD's so they are pretty bright. I needed one on the porch light as the other bulb would melt the lens if left on too long.I got 10 for 24.90 on flea bay.

New gauges look great.
I have to dig into my dash sooner than later - not looking forward to that.
What socket/bulb does the LED replace? 1156?

All running lights are working
I crawled under the whole thing today and found broken wires , bad sockets and burned out bulbs,,,,, no more ,,they are all repaired. So now all my running lights are functioning and look great. Clearance lights are working front and rear, looks sweet at night. I replaced the bulbs under the rear view mirrors and cleaned the contact with electrical contact cleaner and now they are working also, and working with the turn signals also. My back is killing me but i can cross it off the LIST ..... PS- Liquid Electrical Tape is your best friend it tight places on with the pics and stop moving the lips ,,,, oh yeah i should be receiving my motor for the hydraulic jack system tomorrow so it will be up next on the hit parade,, stay tuned !

Nice - I changed out the front clearance but not the rear. When I was climbing up on the roof last weekend I saw where I either need to re-caulk or replace the rears too. They light but they look a little rough up close.

Need Advice
Yesterday while checking all the lights, with engine running i turned on the headlights and the engine died and continued to do so repeatedly. So i replaced the headlight switch as i thought it was the problem somehow,, wrong. Today while running engine when the stairs went down the engine died. While i sat in the drivers seat watching the volt gauge i turned on the headlights , volts dropped on gauge, but didn't kill engine it kept running until i turned on the dash blower motor,, volts on gauge dropped to 10-11 volts then engine died. I'm guessing i have a bad/dying alternator,, what do you all think. It tests 14 volts at the battery while running,,, but Without a proper load tester i can't be sure ,, but it seems to me its the culprit. Need your input,, diesels are not my bag,,, thanks,,, oh PS-- with the generator running i can't kill the engine,i turned on everything ,,, that test only confirms what i believe but i need to hear from you wiser than i am. Is my alternator bad

Sounds like the alternator needs to be checked out but first I'd charge the battery and take it to a auto parts store for a free load test.
For a quick on board test charge the battery then turn on things to see if it still wants to die or put a set of jumper cables from another vehicle then turn on various loads to see if it still dies out.

Aren't the chassis batteries only there to start the engine,, like in a car. I was wondering about my chassis batteries ( 2- 12v Sealed, born 11-14).I put in new coach batteries in December (4-6v Trojan T105's)last year but didn't give them a second thought. My 04 Z06 used to do funny stuff when the batteries were going south and had low voltage,, could this be the same animal. I keep my batteries charged and but the engine still dies with them charged,,,,, but could they still be bad and causing this problem,, i'll pull them tomorrow and have them tested before i have someone come out and test the alternator. I'm going to see if i can pull my car up beside it and test it now,,, just tried the jumper cable from my car to the chassis batteries and it still dropped volts and died as i turned on the headlights and the dash blower. Thanks John

Your start batteries are probably low and I agree with the other guys- Alt isn't working either.
10 volts on the dash running will kill the engine for sure. Also check your on board converter/charger and make sure the batteries are being charged.
I ran all the way from Indy to Fla with a dead Alternator- running the generator. I wired my on board 40 amp charger to charge the coach as well as my Start Batteries.
