1994 P30 78 gallon sender/pump fix

Hi Folks,
Just fixed our 1994 Itasca Sunrise, fuel pump failed, sender was already problematic...with these LARGE fuel tanks, there is a readily available sender/pump hanger but it is too short by 2 3/4". Photos of my modification show how I cut the return line that the pump holder is mounted to and extended it from 12" to 14 3/4". The new replacement pumps just have a hose attachment to the pump for the feed line so that was a simple extension with longer hose. Pump needs upgrade to 454/7.4. I used a piece of 1/4" metal fuel line hose clamped to the return line to stabilize the pump from swinging/vibrating. Just make sure you orient the float in it's original direction so it moves freely in the tank between the baffles.

Thanks for the tip. I believe that the replacement is on my list for the near future.
