1995 Fleetwood Storm has catalytic converter?

Good morning,

I´m passionate about American RVs. And fly to Florida this Wednesday. One week to find "the one". And bring it back to Europe. Showing my fellows how Motorhomes could lookalike. I have a question about a Fleetwood Storm from 1995. Ready for sales. Does this model has already a catalytic converter? Any idea where I find all specs? Google not helping right here. Hint: Without a converter, the RV in my country could be settled in the garden. With some flowers on the roof. But nothing else. Best from Berlin, Rüdiger

Guten tag Rüdiger,
If it is a Chevrolet engine / chassis then yes, it will have a catalytic converter in the exhaust system. If it is a Ford chassis, then no.

Rule of thumb

Danke, Nick. The Fleetwood Storm a widebody. 102". No registration in Europe at all. Means, again looking. Is there any rule of thumb I can work with? Due to European regulations, the potential deal down to approx. 16500 lbs GVWR and 100 inches width. Means, I´m in a period shortly before or at the 2000´ years. In my recon we are generally talking about the producers (Ford/ GM) for the chassis with engine. The info I´m looking for usually not in the offical specs.

Best from Berlin, Rüdiger

You might want to consider the 1996-1999 Fleetwood Flair, Storm or Bounder models.
The Chevrolet chassis came with gasoline fuel injection, onboard engine/emissions diagnostics, and catalytic converters.
Some were made as short as 22 feet long, are 96 inches wide, and are 14,800 GVWR or less.
This was also the John Crean (founder of Fleetwood) era were they built some very solid coaches.
