I'm doing the same...just purchased an 85 Winnebego Chieftian 33'. Will pick it up in a few days. The RV dealer is installing a used awning that I found on craigs list. Can't wait to get it home to detail it and move in. We will be going full time August 1st for a year as we are in transition to moving to Boise, Idaho area to purchase a home. We already have the RV park booked for our long-term rental. $400 per month including all utilities, including electric, cable, internet, phone, all hookups, spa, heated pool. It's a newer park here in Salem. Hope your 'new to you rv' meets your every expectation. It's risky getting something much older, but older can be OK if they have been regularily maintained.

Ha! We just bought an 85 beaver continental too! We are in va. Everything is original and works. Love the classic lines. These older Beavers were top of the line back in the day.

Welcome to the world of RV's. Use it to see as much of this wonderful country as you can before the government closes it down. You will find that all those beautiful backdrops in all those old Western movies, were not backdrops, they were for real!
