Howdy,

I have pretty much decided on a used LazyDaze model 23.5TK when my house sells However.....ever now and again a older used rig comes up that gets my attention.

Its on PPL Motohomes Consignment in Houston, TX which I really know nothing about either!
Allegro Here

The question is: Is anyone familiar with a Class C Allegro?

I just sold my 32' Allegro class A and bought a 26' Born Free. The Allegro was well made and Tiffin stands behind their product. We were happy with it, just wanted something smaller.

We were camping this past weekend with friends who just bought a '92 23' Allegro also. But theirs did not have the corner bed, but had the bath across the back. Back then they apparently used solid wood for cabinets. The unit seeemed well built, we were out in heavy rain and they had no leaks. The previous owners) did not take very good care of it cleaning wise, but it cleaned up real nice. Next year they will work on the dull outside.

They paid about $10,000 for it, on a Chevy chassis, not sure of the mileage. Runs good.

Tiffin, who makes the Allegro and other models does NOT make a Class C (now), they just make Class A's

Allegro made a little one, I'd call it a Class B, 6 cyl. Astro. I saw the one at PPL motorhomes, and it was in rough shape. Decided not to touch it.

Apackof2,I think the class C is gone. They are good MH as others have said. They have a couple of classA's in the 29-29 foot range that look like good deals.I'm Looking at them Myself.
Good Luck with your serches and have a great holiday, Dan and Deb

There is no comparison between the little 6 cyl. Allegro Astro, and a Lazy Daze.
The Astro is very small, and no cabover bed. The Lazy Daze is about the best Class C there is, according to Consumer Reports.
Happy Trails, Penny
