'71 NuWa Travel Trailer

Hi Folks, my first posting here. I wasn't sure where to ask this questions because the forum is Vintage RV's - so, post here o over on the Travel Trailer Forum? I thought I would start here.

I am purchasing a ground up restored, 1971 '16 NuWa non-fifth wheel travel trailer in the next few days. She's a beauty. However, no amount of Googling brings up any tow-behind NuWa's . Does anyone have some history on this company? Where the tow-behinds short lived? I hope to hear some feedback on this subject!

Thank you all,

I'm afraid I can't answer your question , and frankly over the years I can't remember seeing anything but 5ers from NuWa. But I love a good mystery so I'll poke around too, just to see what was available , and/or happened to the company. First I'm going to have to figure out if NuWa was/is, a division of an existing company.

EDIT: Well so far no mention of TT's on the company web site
or the owners web page

The company page only mentions 5er production starting in1969, but nothing about operations prior to that, could be they dropped TTs in favor of 5ers as demand increased. I'll ask on the company page's FAQ and see if they come back with any info.
Company contact info; on the home page; gives 1-800-835-0676 you could phone and inquire, or contact them by e mail from the home page.

Nice research DonDee! As it happens, that is the exact NuWa I am purchasing. So at least we know for sure, there is 1 NuWa 16' trailer on the road, lol!
