'81 Executive

Past time I started posting instead of just reading. Two months ago the boss and I bought an '81 Executive 38' that I've been after for five years. We live in it beside my mother-in-law. Needs much work but is livable. Need 6 new tires before we can get on the road. Social Security only goes so far! Need to replace both heaters,or get Wave htrs. Bigger fridge Mostly cosmetic as is not in bad shape. Any tips greatly appreciated. Ed

Periodically, you can find good deals on Craigslist for used parts . I'm the king of canibals I've been salvaging parts off newer totaled rigs for a while now to graft onto my old '74.

Glad you decided to post. How about getting some photos of the rig? We love photos of work in progress.

Never thought of Craigslist. Thanks. Txiceman, where in Texas are you? I'm now in Wylie. Ed

I agree with Red, I have found so many things for my RV on craigslist, and also for a very reasonable price. Good luck.
