83 Tioga (raising the dead)

Here is a picture of my 1983 Tioga 23 ft (I believe). She is worn out almost to the same point as me. LOL . I hope she and I will find some strength and much needed energy on our quest to re-new her. I am starting a picture journal of all the repairs that i will be doing to her as they progress. I just hope she loves me as much as I love her. This looks to be a very time consuming endeavor. Not too costly as of out of pocket but a never ending battle with time.

here is my link to the progress report;

you can also check it out in the class c section

Been there, done that. We started with a 1984 Fleetwood Jamboree. It was a 26 footer that had sat idle for 3-5 years. We got it for a real good price and put some elbow grease into it along with a few bucks. It was a nice unit but we've since moved into a class A. Take your time and don't let it beat you up. Come here and ask questions. There are no questions that'll go unanswered. This is by far one of the best forums I've ever been on. Great people here.

Wonderful! (I love the old 80's Tiogas)

I'm restoring a '75 Sportsman (see avatar pic). I am having so much fun on this project. Restoring an old MH is like going off on an adventure in itself. Have fun!

Wow that's a lot of rotten wood. That's great you have an indoor place to work on it.

Good luck on the rebuild. My wife and I just bought a 1984 Tioga. Learning as we go.

WOW lots of work, A true labor of love. Our old gal was in pretty good shape. She sat for almost 6 years between storage and his driveway.
Have fun and keep the Pictures a coming. Really enjoy watching a remodel.
