86 Winnebago Chiefton 34'

I am trying to decide if I should fix her up and keep her or sell her! We traveled full time for two years till my husband took I'll and later passed. Now it is just me. I really think I need a smaller unit. I lost my home to foreclosure and the mechanic stole the starter and batteries so I had to have it towed off the property. That means I have to replace the starter and batteries. Plus it hasn't been started sine 08 when my husband passed. It's still a beautiful unit. I can post pictures of it. It still has everything original in it except we put in a king size platform where it had twin beds in the back with hydronic lifts to store under the bed. It was done professionally and covered with nice carpeting. Then we spent over $12,000 at Lazy days to put in a new 7,000 Onan generator and a new refrigerator and a porcelain toilet. We also had special stealing mechanisms put in so when those tractor trailers passed it would not sway. It also has air horns installed. I know it's not much but if I sell it I would only ask $5,000 for it as it still needs the two roof top airs replaced and a tune up. My son had it running last year, he just couldn't afford the gas as he had Cancer and passed this January. So if anyone is interested in it let me know. Pjhodes@gmail.com or you can call me at 239-322-8668 maybe we can trade, who knows.

Sorry to hear of your hard times. My uncle had an 86 or 87 Winnie Elandan when I was a kid. It was bigger and nicer than everyone elses mh that we would travel with.
