87 Holiday Rambler 24' 6.9 diesel maiden voyage

1200 very smooth and trouble free miles, other than a every 250 mile thirst for power steering fluid. Not bad for a maiden voyage. For those interested the 6.9 diesel got 13mpg at 55mph or 9.9mpg at 67 (with a lot of hill climbing). The first use of the dumping station was slso (thankfully!! ) uneventful. We drove to Clemmons Nc and back stopping also at Lake Santee state park in Sc. Its a beautiful spot with plenty of lakeside pull thru spots.

86 Holiday Rambler 24'

Thanks! I think so to.. everything in it seems to have held up well ( even the scary orange carpeting, which will soon be replaced with wood laminate).
