94 28ft Southwind Storm P-30 chassis 7.4L

I'm getting ready to replace the master cylinder, Front right/left rotor hub assemblies, front pads, rear shoes and master cylinder hose to proportion valve. The rear has drums that I'm going to have opened and inspected. Not having any issues with the rears currently so I don't anticipate any trouble with them. The front though I just noticed after returning from 3 dyas away that the right fronts pad backing plate is rubbing on the rotor I also noticed that the pedal will ever so slowly drop while stopped (Master cylinder seal leakage). I've had a good solid look at everything underneath and no visible signs of brake fluid leakage. Best guess is the seal in the master cylinder is wore and leaking fluid past it and back into the reservoir.

My question is regarding the rear brake hose/s. The Chevy parts dealer made mention of a 3/16 steel line connecting the 2 rear wheels but I'm not seeing that on Rock auto (or any site). What I do see is a park listed as 'Rear center' and it's a flex hose. Such as:

WAGNER BH80967 {#F80967}
REAR CENTER

Also on Rock Auto site some of the parts for the brakes list as...Exc. I Beam; Exc. Motorhome chassis etc...which I assume means not compatiable. Correct?

I'd like to replace all the brake hoses and I assume there are (4) total on this chassis. Is this correct? As of now I've ordered just the pre mentioned items in the first paragraph given I couldn't 100% for sure figure out which and all brake hoses I needed.

I've got an appointment on the 17th to have the mechanic install the following:

1. Master cylinder MC39435
2. Master cylinder hose to proportion valve BH380287
3. Left/Right rotor hub assemblies (Raybestos) 5022R
4. Extended wear pads (front) Centric 10605430
5. Rer shoes Centric 11204520

Since I couldn't narrow down the hoses I decided to let him source them and rear wheel cylinders. I'll save plenty $$ on my end with the parts I purchased. Any other suggestions on brake items needing replacement?

Make sure you replace the front hoses. Fluid flush,Why are you replacing the rotors, Maybe they can be saved? I think there is only 1 hose in the rear as you indicated. I did the front breaks recently, it was not bad. I can't imagine the master cyl.

Right front is scored enough that I do not believe it can be saved. Half inch in width and a ~ 1/16th grooved from the steel backing plate on the pad outer side. I always replace them as pairs when needed.

I picked up the AC Delco master cylinder for ~ 40 bucks new from Rock auto.

Rotor hub assemblies were Raybestos $88.XX each off Rock auto. It's amazing how automotive shops over charge for these and most parts given they make their money on labor.

I just did the rear brakes on mine and can confirm, just one flexible line at the center of the axle.

Much appreciated....that's what I thought. I had the Chevy parts guy telling me there was 3 but I was underneath more than once and could only find and comprehend here being 1. The other lines were steel.

I'm going to replace the wheel cylinders as well.

Disc rear have three in the back, interesting they told you that as they gave you the correct part number for the master cylinder for your 13 x 3 1/2 drum rear rig (disc rear is different).

Drums on the rear on mine. I believe the disc rear may have a flex hose on each side.

What kind of brake life you guys seeing with the Class A of similar size? Miles wise before another pad/shoe replacement (average)? I ended up purchasing the Raybestos rotor/hub assemblies (heavy duty with the Centric Extended wear pads and heavy duty shoes.
