97 Peterson Excel... My "new" RV (and I'm looking for info)

Hi everyone,

My girlfriend and I just bought a 1997 Peterson Excel. It comes with a manual, but it's lacking a lot of details that we would like information on.

So, I'm here to ask questions and hopefully someone can answer them.
  • our couch area slide out has light fixtures... but they won't turn on (and I've changed bulbs). is there a fuse that needs to be replaced? if so... where's the fuse box?
  • how many gallons of gray and black water can be held?
  • there's floor lights, but I've not found how to turn them on
  • there's a slide out pantry that needs to be repaired. how can I pull it off the rails without ripping it apart?
  • is there something I need to know when I am looking for a new toilet that's standard size?

Any help would be greatly helpful.

The Excel coaches are prized by their owners and Iím sure someone will come in with guidance. But if you need or want to talk to a knowledgeable voice Kayís RVís just east of Albuquerque NM always has some Excelís in stock. We considered an Excel for a couple of years and she was a fountain of information.
