Update on the unknown:

There's a Smokey bear on it so after much much searching....I've been told it's a Smokey but still don't know what year! I'm thinking '60's but I have not seen another one like it! When I got it, the lady said that Smokey was the dealer sticker where it was bought so I didn't think much of it when I couldn't find any info on it. According to people I've asked, Smokey made Grizzly, Teddy, Panda, and Cub! Norris bought out Smokey somewhere around 1970, then Midas bought them out....now don't quote me but this is info I'm getting from many sources. It's fun to investigate it, though. I'd still like to know the year....and I'm still searching!

Could it be a Prowler, it looks like this one I saw at a Montana rest area.

It does look similar to a Prowler. Front windows on mine are all wind outs. I have no back windows, not sure about a Prowler. Thanks...it's close...I'll check on some of those to see if I can find more!

So far everything screams Smokey camper. Still don't have a clue as to the year of it. Guess I'm going to DMV soon and hopefully I can find something out. I still can't find another one like it after looking for two straight months. Strange!
