Bedroom remodel

I have made the decision to remove my bed and replace it with a sofabed making a second living area. I need the room during times I am awake. I will not miss making the current bed. I know I am making a compromise with the quality of the mattress. Has anyone seen this done?

Did you check to see what's currently under the bed? Mine has a water tank, water heater and a room heater. Manufacturers rarely let space go unused since it's at such a premium.

You're lucky. One of the nicest things about changing RV furniture to regular furniture is it gives you a chance to reduce that "RV look" and make a more comfortable and modern living space.

Photos would be nice.

I will document everything with photos. We are in the before stage now. I have purchased the couch. It is 5 months old from a 2015 Fleetwood for $300.

will you have any room to get around the bed when the sleeper sofa is out? I do think now days there are some good choices for quality mattresses

That is a good question. I am taking measurements now the I just need to be able to get to the can in the middle of the night. Here is the sofa

boy, thats nice and so was 300 dollarsi dont think i could get that to my back bedroom, door is too narrow

Whenever you remodel your bedroom always make sure that you avoid clutter as much as possible. We generally tend to have a lot of little things lying around in our bedroom like cellphones, magazines and so on. It’s good if you have baskets in your room so that you can keep all these things in the basket and keep the bedroom neat. Get rid of the things that you don’t use and leave it behind at home or you could give it to a friend as a keepsake. Too much unwanted accessories like cushions and prints often leads to a cluttered bedroom. Blank spaces are good and makes your bedroom look more spacious. Lastly furniture s should be proportionate with your room, smaller the room smaller the furniture.
