I have a 87 34' Bounder that we bought new. never did like the mirrors, and saw some RAMCO 9000 series mirrors on the internet that i was considering installing. anyone changed mirrors on a early Fleetwood? if so, any problems doing the installation? what kind of mirrors did you use? pictures would be great.

+1 I'd also like to change mine. 79 Pace Arrow. I've yet to find some that might work on such a older model and look well.

Go with the Ramco Mirrors. They fit perfect and worked really good for the blind spots as they have a way bigger blind spot mirror! I went with Manuel but wish i had bought the heated remote type! I took them off and put them on my truck but am thinking about getting a different type for the truck. Haven't made up my mind yet...I think i have one but DW says no way....??

If anyone decides to go back with electric mirrors, it is not a hard install, but be very careful with the wiring. The electric mirrors use a printed circuit board and the circuit is very small. about the size of a human hair. if you ground a wire, it will burn up the circuit board in a nano second.
