Brake master cylinder

Does anyone have any idea where I can purchase a master cylinder for a '92 Oshkosh chassie under an Allegro Bay DP? The part number is Freightliner A12-20890-000. I'd like to get a new one, but Freightliner says "it's not available anymore". So I guess I'm game for a rebuilt unit. Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm sure Oshkosh and Freighliner just bolt on a master cylinder from another manufacturer. You need to find out who made the part and contact them directly. If you pull the bad one, you might find name and serial # that can be matched up.

You might try here:

Try NAPA Auto parts. Just take the number you, or better yet, take the entire master cylinder, have and see what they can do for you.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, I would have never thought of NAPA but they had the master cylinder, less the tank, and the maxi boost at a much less price then what it would have cost (if available) at the freightliner place.

Allegro/Oshkosh Master Cylinder a12-20890-000

NAPA no longer crosses this number. Do you have paperwork where you bought yours so I can get part number off of it???
