Cable TV input for '87 Pace Arrow

We just bought our "new" 1987 Pace Arrow (39K miles), after 18 months of looking, and are preparing for the trial run. Have the operator manual and owner manual, and have a lot of it figured out. Still lots to go. But I can't find an input jack for cable TV from the park pedestal. In the hole for the video cassette player there is a plate with some jacks. One is labeled "park cable out" or close to that. So it makes me think there should be a place to put park cable in. But did parks even have cable back in '87?

I've looked in most of the obvious places, and a lot of others, but no find, yet.

If anybody knows, or has a good guess, where it might be, I would appreciate the information.

Thank you all.

You are right to think there must be a place to connect the park cable. The park cable connector (type F coax fitting just like on a TV or cable box) might be near other external connections like the water and electrical connections. Sometimes it will be in a compartment with a door closed that hides it. If several careful searches around the exterior with several pairs of eyes doesn't find it you can trace the cable back from the jack you found. This will require opening lots of panels, drawers, devices and other disassembling. It might also mean crawling underneath to follow it along the frame.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. Finally did find it. Buried behind the little six inch square power cord compartment door, under six layers of cord. Even has a little dust cover on it to keep it clean. Even though I had checked this compartment at least six times already.

Now I can enjoy the trip.

Thanks again.
