carefree "obsolete" awning problems

am new here..thanks to all that welcomed me.......need help with falty end release cap assembly on carefree deluxe canopy ( 1986 Holiday )...any advice toward how to get a replacement or remake what I`ve got,,will be greatly appreciated. Thanks....blacktopman

Well, it is the Deluxe Carefree awning....originally out of Colorado.....the part is called the ..front spring assembly...part number 169021.....it is the cable re-lease type.....the whole assembly popped off and let the whole front end of the canopy fall and went right thru the side window........yeh.....$250. worth........anyway I will try to get a picture of it . Thanks for the response
