Hello all, another new guy here! I just bought a new project. You know that means lots of questions to come. This is my first motorhome. She's a 1989 Itasca Spirit 24'. It's the shortest I've seen but it fits the bill for it's intended use. I have a 13 year old daughter that's into motocross so we got this to use as a "track home". It has the Chevy 454/th400. Has 60k miles and has had two owners according to the DMV. Overall seems to be in decent condition for it's age. Runs strong w/plenty of power. The roof a/c works pretty good, stove/oven & water heater work great. All plumbing is good so far. Of course it has things that don't work. The Onan 4k generator doesn't work. It came with a portable strapped to the back. It works but I'd really like to fix the Onan. I've replaced the fridge with a household unit since we don't boondock. The furnace is not working but there is a rear heat control on the dash and that part works. The interior is in nice shape, the wife has already re-done all the curtains and we're getting ready to do the flooring using Allure simulated wood from Home Depot. Sorry about the long first post, just wanted to give a little info on the old girl. I'll be back with questions shortly and hopefully be able to help someone out after I learn how these things are put together. Thanks in advance.
