Coil needed for Onan 4k genset... where to find one?

Not sure of the model offhand but the Onan 4k generator in our RV has very weak spark (orange and won't jump far when sparked) so I'm assuming it needs a new coil.

The one on there looks like a standard car coil but with dual outputs.

Only one I've found is a high-voltage replacement on ebay but I don't need anything fancy!

Ideas?

The bad news is that all Onan parts are rather expensive. The good news is that you can get them. Try here:

Onan 166-0772 Ignition Coil Kit contains 166-0804 coil : A.S.A.P.

I have bought several things from this company - always new and they ship fast.

Thanks for the link! That doesn't look like the coil on my unit though, but the connections are the same so I guess it'd work.

Rather go with the $60 chrome one on ebay though! haha
