Most animals (except apex predators) are only aggressive if flight isn't a possibility. Nevertheless, I hope I never see one in MY camper
Very good analysis except for the Copperhead designation. They are notorious for their attitude, they have the worst one of all snakes I've been told.

I've caught/killed snakes in my basement with my mousetraps. (Last one was a 3ft garter snake) They tend to follow the wall just like rodents do (especially if they are following the scent.) A small snake like that would easily be killed by your standard alligator style mouse trap. I'd set a few up with the jaws facing IN to the wall in a few locations and see what you catch. Anywhere there is a hole from one cavity to another would be a great place for the trap.

While washing my roof the other day I found a shed snake skin on the roof under one of the air conditioners. Wow, it must have dropped down from a tree.

I slept in there every night. I'm fine however it was a bad omen for something to come a few days later. I lost my mule to some sort of illness and I'm still really in bad shape emotionally about it.

I'm sorry for you loss. Fur babies of any size are family. These critters love us unconditionally and will put their lives ahead of us anytime.
