Cruise Control 1997 F53 Fleetwood Southwind

For some reason my cruise control has stopped working on my rig. So far I have found 2 fuses in the power distribution box and they both check good. I just replaced the transmission. Is there a sensor/sender that connects to the transmission??? I don't recall removing one when I changed it. Perhaps it operates off of another sensor/sender somewhere on the Coach?????

Any ideas I should try.

Thanks

If it has a vacuum servo to pull the throttle open, you might have a broken vacuum line. Look under the hood.

Take your VIN # to any Ford dealer and see if the Cruise control recall applies to you, and/or if its been complied with..

Vehicle speed sensor? Is yours the style that speedo cable goes into and has a 2 wire electrical connector?

My Mechanic informs me that it screws into the rear differential, so going to look for a vacuum solution with his help. Thanks
