Defrost Question

Hi All
I've pretty much gotten the pushbutton heater control sorted. However, the defroster is eluding me. I have a single 2.5" flex hose from the plenum to the driver side defroster duct, but nothing to the passenger side, nor do I have any access to the defroster duct on that side that I can find. It looks to be between the firewall and a solid wood panel just behind the plenum.
Is there just one feed for both sides of the defroster? I'm getting little/no air to the passenger side, plenty to the driver side.
Thanks!

Mine don't blow much air either side, All Duct work attached and sealed still little air. Good air flow when on Heat.
I installed 3 fans (2 speeds) at the top of the windshield 1 in each corner of windshield and one in the middle. No more steamy windshield.
A clean windshield also helps, plus I crack open my window a bit.

Spritz and 429Cv23, try a product called anti-fog. It's made by rainex. I use it on the windshield of my 89 southwind. After applying it, I don't even have to crack a window. It works just as advertised. Just be sure to use a clean towel or rag

I'll try it too!

OK, here's most of what I found in the flex hose between the driver and passenger defrost vents. I was able to get it out using 1/4", fairly rigid poly tubing and 80PSI from my portable air tank. My last option to remove it was to break into the huge dome of foam sealer which is accessible from the front. Looks like they ran the connecting hose in front of the firewall and encased it in foam sealer. Took several frustrating hours to get it out. I could see it using an inspection camera, but couldn't get to it to break up the wad. Now to epoxy up the broken defrost vent and reassemble it!

What the heck.?
Reminds me of my central Vac that was never used because they used it when built and clogged it with Insulation and cigarette butts, took all that out of the hose and it works Super.
I'll have to look into this as a cure for my defroster
Tim

What the heck is right

Speaking from experience it sort of looks like the work of a pack rat.

At first I thought it was a mouse nest, but saw no mouse dirt in it.
