Dometic rm3601 reignitor issue?

Hi everyone, I have a 1989 Lazy Daze with the Dometic rm3601 fridge. I am running into a issue using both 120 electric and propane , the fridge will cool initially for 20 hours or so, getting down to 28 in the fridge and much colder in the freezer, then stop cooling. When using propane, it will not reignite the flame to cycle the cooling, and on electric, I'm not sure what it isn't doing to cycle. I initially had no cooling and bridged the old thermostat with a copper wire, and bingo cooling. Now I have a new thermostat and partial cooling. I am wondering if it is my control board in the back? Any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome, and if anyone knows what or how I should test the board, that information would be fantastic! Thank you, have a great day.

Oh yeah, almost Forgot the most important part when I turn the refrigerator off turn it back on choose propane it reignites just fine I have great gas flow and propane in the tank!

Welcome to Vintage,
I have a 1982 RM100 Dometic Fridge mine only works on Propane never has it run on electric, and I have ran mine going on 8 months continuously. maintains a 30/34 degree fridge and ice frozen. I know if I don't have the MH level it won't fire. (very important) We also replaced the thermo-coupler and clean the tips every week.
Hope there is something here that will help ya out.
ps I have one of those fridge fans for interior of fridge.

This is our first motorhome, I did not know about the automatic selection for our fridge. It works great now that I have it figured out! I had initially chosen propane to cool the fridge, and when I started the engine, the engine lock disabled the propane. Using automatic selection, it switches over to 12 volt operation while driving, and has a 15 minute delay converting too propane as a precaution if you stop to fill up with fuel, when you start the engine, 12 volt cooling kicks back on, or if 15 minutes pass, propane kicks on. The manual says nothing about this. Now we can hit the flattops this week with a fridge that works great! Thank you to all that helped with advice, happy trails!
