Easy fix for annoyingly slow turn signal

Have had our 92 Monaco for several years and the turn signals have always made me crazy. They would blink so slow I'm pretty sure most drivers behind me thought they had OD'd on Valium.

Yesterday I changed the front turn signal bulbs from a typical 1157 to a 2357 which draw more amps. Problem solved. They blink at normal speed (4 seconds to 2 seconds) and are brighter.

My apologies to the several hundred drivers who must've thought I was an idiot for not signaling - I WAS signaling. Just very, very slowly Live and learn.

Kind of sounds more like a wrong flasher unit. The 1157 bulb was common back in that vintage maybe someone changed the flasher which are made in different voltage requirements.

All that matters is your rid of the annoyance, thank you for letting us known.
