First day camping with new rig!!!
We had a wonderful time in our 1983 Georgie Boy Excalibur everything worked as should and she ran good down the road...I'm very happy with this purchase. My question is how many years could I get out of her with proper maintenance???

That's a tough question to answer, but with good maintenance, it could be a long time. Someone must have already done a good job of it. Congrats on your wonderful time camping.

I've asked that question myself. I am finding what might be the biggest issue is finding parts for the chassis. Last year I went to the GM dealer looking for an oil pressure sending unit and a pressure switch that ties into the same "T". Parts NLA. I did find them at Carquest. As far as coach parts are concerned ( fridge, top A/C, furnace, water heater, etc most of those cane be retro fitted. I think the biggest issue is how adamant you are about keeping it when things are breaking down. I just got back from 8 days and 1300 miles. All went well but it is time for the front end to get looked at. Some sort of clunking up front at low speed.

If you are able to keep that lovely MH under cover when not in use, you might be able to keep her practically forever. There is nothing nicer you can do for her than keep her covered.

Think of it as you would if you have an older car/pickup. Other than parts, it's tender loving care.
