Found a TC.
We are the new owners of a 1990 S&S 11 SCB cabover. Its a basement 4-season unit. I went over it for 2 hours looking for any water damage or rot. The calk on the roof is starting to pull and its getting pretty hard, so it will need a reseal this year. Other than that its in good shape for being 21 years old. The interior is showing wear but we're thinking that we will remodel and update it anyhow.
I also bought the truck it was on, as a package it was a REALLY good deal. The reason I got the truck was for the new tires on it and the Alcoa wheels. I will trade them onto mine and re-sell the truck.
I left a deposit and will be picking it up tomorrow. Will post pics then!

The "moved back 3"-4"s from the bulkhead" mystery is solved!!!! Just for giggles and grins I figured that I would put the TC on the truck the right way. After repairing the VERY OLD Happijac turnbuckles and the jacks. (I dont think that its been off the truck for years!)I lifted it off the truck and backed it under, left it back about 1" from the front wall. Dropped it back down and tied it back on. The rear doors hit the front jacks when the swing brackets are in travel mode. Wont be a problem with the super-cab.
Also took the interior apart today to. There is evidence of water leakage at one time and I will need to remove all the bubble windows and check for damage and repair/re-seal them the right way. I also need to replace the outside vent for the hood cause the flapper door is missing, and the city water connection is toast and powdery. The hot water heater needs to be removed and remounted/resealed too. Other than those few things,(that I consider minor) for 21 years old, it was pretty well taken care of.
Wheeeeew.....That ends day 1.

Nice looking rig. I think you did yourself proud. I drove something very similar to Alaska in my younger days. It was a fun way to go. Happy trails!

Very nice camper. S&S campers have always been top quality. It is still a family run operation, and I have heard and read nothing but good things about them.
