The edges failed as you can see the discoloration of course inside is a mess because of this...all roof top plastic brittle skylights especially.

Would have to say repairable. You are in it this far.
I'd say replace the wood and epdm rubber roof, if.....
there is no de-lamination in the wall skins.

Watched your video and it is great!
You have taken on a big project but are obviously skilled enough for the task. The rig does not look as bad as was originally thought and with the roof now secure, you can concentrate on fixing what you want on the inside.
This is a great hobby and you will love owning your rig.

Good work. Having done one the second one will be much easier.
We did our 43 5er and after taking off the old membrane decided to replace all of the sheeting (OSB) with plywood. Having the sheeting off it was easy to upgrade the insulation and replace the existing lighting with LED.

southwind96,
Sounds like a GOOD "project" to me.
(You COULD be married to Darla, who is an interior decorator & is already considering/talking about a complete redecorating of the "pretty decent-looking"/original Holiday Rambler Imperial 33 that we just bought out of an estate sale.)
When I saw her get her clipboard/sketchbook/measuring devices/pens out, I knew that she will start at "A" & go to "Z". - I'm smart enough to let her do as she pleases AND "stay out of the way of" The White Tornado.
(CHUCKLE.)
Whatever she finally does, it will be HANDSOME, when she's finished with her new project.
yours, Darla/Jim

Still moving along...
Just to let everyone know where I am at with this project...with the roof done last year, water flow stopped and now I am addressing all the interior work. I have pulled out the carpet and even after all that time the subfloor in places was still damp so that put me off a little waiting for that to dry out before placing the new laminate floor and currently covering the areas of the walls that suffered with some delamination of vinyl and luon, I am using paneling gluing and finish nailing. Good news the engine runs great after the mechanic went through everything, the biggest problem there was having a new fuel tank made and fuel pump installed that was $1k in itself...so still moving along not as fast as I would like as it is summer and we are busy. I bought some new furniture on the Facebook marketplace only had to spend $250 on a new jack knife and 2 chairs (flexsteel). The ozone generator worked no more smells. I will post some before and after pics when the interior is complete, bye for now!

Sure would like to see some of the 'after' pictures if you've got some.
I love to see these things resurrected.
