Found this free 1975 Southwind 25' motorhome in San Bernardino (SoCal) craigslist today. Sounds like it could be a good project or parts vehicle. Original owner with 42,000 miles, sounds like it needs mostly cosmetics and new seats. The ad says he has the title for it.
Would be cool if an IRV2 forum member got it!

One seriously old Southwind, Dodge hasn't made motorhome chassis in a long time and the last 440 big block to roll off the line was in 1979.
Given my experience with some rigs like that that have been tenanted in that fashion, the rig is likely in very poor condition, especially with the mention of dog fecal matter, I don't think I'd want any of the appliances out of that rig.....

I got pretty lucky on my MH, Traded out labor and cash for it. All appliances work great except for the old microwave which was coming out anyway. Had leaks in the roof but I drove it home after it had sat for 17 years. Still alot to do but running gear is in great shape. There are deals out there. Just have to be in the right place at the right time.
