Depending on your model, and how its connected, you may have enough plumbing to disconnect a fitting at the tank and pour into tank via a funnel.
Other methods involve using a section of FW hose, at the city water hook up. Fill the hose with bleach.... then attach the hose to the water supply you're using and let the water pressure push the bleach into the tank..... I did that the last time.... Helpful hint: Fill the RV plumbing with water prior to filling up your FW tank..... in other words, purge the air from your plumbing lines with city water hook up. then shut off your water.... the anti siphon should prevent water from blowing back out the CW hookup. Then you can drain your FW supply hose... add the bleach into the hose, reconnect the CW and pressurize..... then open the FW tank fill valve. That will divert & force the bleach/water directly to the tank.
Another theory I have thought about (but haven't tried yet) is based upon the premise that most of the time a FW tank feed's to the FW Pump via gravity. That is, there is no anti-siphon/check valve between the input side of the pump and the outlet on the FW tank. You could disconnect the input side hose from your water pump. using a funnel, carefully, pour bleach into the hose, followed by pressurized air.... Like a deep breath on the end of the hose to force it into the tank, (Dont inhale with your mouth on the hose!!!
) or you could use a low pressure blast from an air compressor if you had one..... Reconnect the hose to the pump. and fill your FW tank normally, and continue the sterilization process from there...
Remember bleach is a chemical and will burn your skin, eyes, nose and other delicate areas if not handled properly.
If all else fails.... read your manual.
