It takes many, many hours for an RV fridge to cool down; are you waiting at least 24 hours to check on the cooling?

If the freezer section seems to be working, then the fridge section will catch up in time. It's a matter of priority you know.

When I lit the fridge it seemed to start cooling quickly, but then after 3-4 hours is wasn't doing anything. Tonight I will light it and let it run for 24 hours and see what happens. Thanks for the help!!

I'm sure you already know this, but make sure the fridge is LEVEL, both directions before lighting.
Older absorption refeers are especially sensitive to being out of level; it will ruin them eventually.

No I did not know that thanks! So the next question is how does it work rolling down the road when your not always level?

The problem is with the gas inside "pooling" in the low spots when it is running and off level.
When moving down the road, the normal bouncing and back-and-forth movement keep everything moving around nicely.
