Last year I replaced the pump in the tank, and now I need a resource for the
sending unit. I've tried Napa,Chevy dealer, ect not knowing how much
the tank holds I went online calculator and it comes out to 87 gallons
I go about 300 to 350miles before fueling up,but I would like to know exactly how
much is in the tank

It is on my 28ft 1986 Elandan,Chevy P30 chassis

Years ago I checked J C Whitney for a sender for a Jeep. Their listing gave the ohm resistance of the original sender. I went to a parts house here in phoenix and bought a universal sender of the same ohm resistance and adapted it easily.
Do you know for sure it is the sender? Could be the wiring or the dash gauge.

Elandans came with a 60 gal gas tank with a 30 gal aux tank optional. Does yours have the electronic instrument panel?

Here's the deal, I replaced the fuel pump in the tank and had to rewire the whole thing.
And switched wires and shorted it,but not for more than a second or two
I think I welded the rehastat*(SP),so anyway we took our trip and the gauge worked but not accurately.
