While changing all the clearance and running lights to LED type, I have blown the fuse and can not locate the fuse holder. Can any one tell where it is located? 1986 Bounder

Hi

dont know exactly where it is but the main fuse locations on our 1987 Bounder are
a) Underneath the lift up instrument cluster
b)Beneath the dashboard
c)some RANDOM fuse holders under the hood area! Still havent worked all of ours out yet.

How easy has it been to replace the old running lights with L.E.D ones? Which lights are you using?

Thanks for the information. The Bounder is stored at my sons so I dont have the light info, but will get it for you. Changing them is a piece of cake. We arn't finished yet but just pop off the old cover and remove 2 screws change wires to new light and reinstall the scres and cover. The front clearance lights are held in place by 2 studs that are also the power supply, and were not long enough so we had to drill away some of the thickness so the nut ends up being resested in the bottom of the light.

Here is a link to the light we are using off E-Bay.

Might want to make sure when you drilled that you did not creat a short. You can check this with a DVOM.

If you replace the turn signal bulbs with LEDs you will probably have to replace the flasher as the resistance is way different on the LEDs and they won't flash properly.
