Gained 2mpg!!

Just made an 1000 mile round trip to Key West and right before I did I did new brakes and wheel bearings on my coach. The left front caliper was dragging on occasion and when we got into it the rigt front wheel bearing was burnt. (I didn't know about the bearing because the brake problem was disguising it). Anyways, after that and even with hooking up my new jeep as a toad we averaged 6.9mpg while running the genset! so stoked, saved my $$ and made the coach a hell of a lot easier and more enjoyable to drive!

On toads during oil changes, it is easy to inspect the front wheels for drag and wobble when they are off the ground. On RVs, it is not often the front wheels are off the ground during servicing. I raise my front wheels off the ground with the leveling jacks when I grease it and do my own inspection.
