After having measured the tank on my 1985 Pace I think the thing will hold 80 gals. Does anyone know if this size tank was an option for this RV? Thanks.

You were very close, brochure states 78 gallons. What model do you have and how many feet is it?

Thanks. It would make sense that the metal tank box can not be filled to the top. Everything that I have read stated that the tank should be 60 gals. With a faulty fuel gauge we have been pushing our range at each stop to try and compute the RV's maximum range. Been getting around 7 MPG.

All we know about the model is a Pace Arrow (p30 chevy) I'm guessing 32' long, probably should measure the thing.

The 31+ footers have the 89 gal fuel tanks.

Now I am just confused so I went out and measured all the tanks.
Water: 21 x 46.5 x 15.5 = 65.5 gals
Gray water: 39 x 25 x 9.5 = 49.0 gals
Black water: 32 x 13 x 19 = 34.2 gals
Fuel: 62 x 27 x 13 = 94.2 gals
I guess none of these tanks can be filled to their full capacity so the fuel tank should be around the 85 - 90 gals range?

Is your kitchen on the drivers side or passenger side?

That's the Model L34. That's why the tanks are so big, it's a 34 foot long motorhome. That was the top Pace Arrow for that year. My neighbor has the same one. I had the 31G, a 31 footer. It was a 1984, 454 chevy engine.

Yes a good one, and there is room to add an extra tank that will hold 20 more gallons. My 31 footer had the extra tank, central vacuum, and the Motor Aid water heater, the OG owner got most of the options. Do you have the drop down bed over the front area?

It did but it was the first thing I took out so I could drive it. The Pace was basically given to me by a woman who's husband had passed away. It had major water damage and would not start. Look at the link for the pictures. This is my first RV and I have been trying to learn all about the systems that are on board. So far I have gotten everything working again except a new thermocouple for the oven and the rear AC.
