I had a minor encounter with a 'road gator' last night on my way home. There was very little damage, except for the regulator cover on my propane tank, and some kind of connector/sensor that was caught in the mangled cover:
Does anyone know what this is, what it does, and if, when wired back to the leads that got severed, there is a way to tell its polarity? These wires lack any difference in markings or texture, but the wires that it detached from did. Problem is, there was no way for me to tell which wire was attached where, and to where this item is supposed to be attached. Is it a grounding hook-up for when they fill my tank, or what?
Thanks for looking and for any help you can offer!!!
Blessings
Tom
