OK new question. 1988 Allegro with an Onan Emerald I gen. set. This generator has the round fuel pump that has has the small filter mounted in the bottom. The pump is bad. Has anyone replaced this pump with a universal type low pressure (2-3.5 psi) electric pump? Thanks for any info.

Safe Travels to You and Yours.

Jim

the fuel pump that you have is a bendix, a 3-5 psi should work just fine. all fuel pumps push fuel much better than sucking from a long distance.

That is what I did. It was a whole lot cheaper to get the smaller one and it has been working almost 10 years now with over a thousand hours!!

I'm lost. I've gone to look for me. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait.
