Hi all,

Martha and I depart Fayetteville, AR. on Sunday morning but we had planned to go to the Iowa State Fair 6 months ago. So, we are stopping for a day and night in Des Moines then on to Kentucky. We arrive on the 20th so I hope we get to meet everyone before people start departing.

Lynne you can count on me/us to pitch in on the potluck. I can make whatever we need or want.

My coach goes in for a grease job tomorrow afternoon. Each time I get it done the handling improves by a lot. Hope tomorrow is the same.

Everyone take care and keep on keepin on.

Last day here at Canal Campground C.O.E. at Grand Rivers, KY. Such a beautiful campground and so peaceful. Lots of space between sites. This morning before sunrise I saw my first albino skunk. Ambled across my site and on to the next. And this afternoon went to the Barkley Dam lock on the Cumberland River. No locks to see in Texas so this was my first. 800' lock. Saw 600' barge come in, elevate, and depart. Does not take much to excite this old man.
Tomorrow going to get closer to Carter Caves. We will see. Travel safe y'all.

Good Morning M&G,

Not long now. Tim, I imagine you will have lot's of help with the installs. Everyone tends to keep tools on board and I plan to do some touch up paint while there if I take a mind to.

Charlie, Jerry and I leave on the 22nd so we will be there when you arrive. Once we all get together, we will sit down and figure out a potluck and those who want can participate. I imagine some will get together and eat meals anyway.

Ron, we will see you Sunday. Probably get in a bit before 2pm so will track you down. We are in spot 82 so I don't think it will be hard to find each other.

Tim, pulled pork is one of my favorites. Maybe potato salad to go along with that as well as other goodies.

See you in a few days, stay safe on the road. Lynne

Greetings all!

Gordon and I picked up (his great idea) 4 big watermellons last night. The capital of watermelon production is not far from here. Should be pretty good.

Charlie, we are there till the 21st. May extend a day if we can when we get there.

Tim, I will help with the waterheater.

L.

Today I have had my new to me hound-mutt Emmett for two months. A wonder dog. Like, I wonder how I got hooked up with another dog?

Saturday night is the Perseid Meteor Shower for this year. Hoping for dark skys at Carter Caves.

I am packed up for a travel day. Will be on the road before 9am central. Have to add an hour to todays travel because of the time zone change.

Happy trails y'all.

Good Morning M&G! Coffee is very good today!
This will be a combined post today, as I am getting ready to pack up, and making list's! Had a nice gentle rain last night, so I will have to wait till later on to pull Mona up to wash her and Bailey. With the fresh trenching a lot of exposed dirt, so doing here in her spot is a no go!
I have to go find a locking hitch pin, as the tow bar stays on Mona, and I do not want it to "Walk Away" (sodaspeak). And I need to pick up a big round to flat plug adapter, and a few other things!
I will get some Indiana Melon's (cantaloupe) today also! Man they are good!
Everyone out traveling be safe and we will see you in a few days!
Rail, Jira, Mai!

Overnite just outside of Bardstown, KY. Just east of Elizabethtown. 153 miles to go. Called Carter Caves and they can take me a day early, in same site #78. I'll leave the light on for ya.
