Good Morning Meet and Greet

Hello All,

There are a group of us that are on two threads and are planning to meet up in August of 2017. Probable dates are August 14th through August 25th 2017. The two threads are "Good Morning" and "Total Rebuild".

We've become friends and several of us have met but we want to get all of us together for some camping and friendship.

So, Let's get a CG figured out and all who plan to come. I am excited and it is over a year away! See you there my friends.! Lynne

Hi Lynne, Eleanor researched a campsite that Ron suggested and it actually looks very good, It is Glen Elder state park, the one section is called KAW there is 18 sites with the shortest 40' and the longest 60' (I know I need a 60fter, I'm 58' long) the whole site only has electric and water on site with centrally located dump sites. You can only reserve 13 months in advance so we would have to wait until July to book. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Yeah Ron,

This is going to be fun. Lot's of friendship, food, and drinks. Sun, campfires and good company!

Not sure who recommended this but it is a good plan for all of us. Hope everyone can come.

Lynne

octefam,

Would love to see you and all of family there if you can make it. Terry, Will definitely check out the park and I will take a shorter spot. 40 foot is maybe ok for me. Depends if I can pull the Prius up the side a bit.

Octefan, where do you live and how long a drive is it for you? The one thing, if things break down on the way there will be lot's of help fixing the problem.

We will plan to be there for the first week. Janet has prior commitments so we will have to leave no later than the 19 +/-. We will be stopping on the way down either in Cody or the Black Hills for a bit of touring.

Have noted the dates in our calendar. According to the GPS it will be 1100 miles from our house.

Hi Gordon!

Well we hadn't figured out the return,,, but stuck a stake in the ground that we would leave here May1st. So middle/end of August would give us 16 weeks. That sounds good?

We love the Black Hills, would of course stop and check on Crazy Horse progress!

We live In Puyallup, Wa about 30 miles south of Seattle. Yes I know the beauty of anything is wrong there will be all the brains there to assist but this should be a vacation...lol

1628 miles from our door step.

Told my wife about it she was actually open to the idea of going.

Lynne,
Thanks for starting this thread, we are planning on going also.
Terry,
The park sounds great, I will call you before the July date gets here to help set up registrations and such.
