Just couldn't resist , could ya Rail?

Bill
I never heard of Road Hog and the Cadillac Cowboys , sure I'd have enjoyed the gig though. Love the name .

One of the "problems" being in the biz is on any given night/day we were usually all playing in a different place !

It's a pretty isolated life (if you don't include the fans......)

Harv
Unpack the lawn chairs !

(It just doesn't have the impact of "Release The Kracken" ! Does it ?

Lloyd
THAT is called "a close one" I believe....

AND NOW , I shall attempt to answer the question of the day......

Why do I use emoji's?

Because they didn't have them when I was a kid.

Nothing exciting here.

The other DH and I went out to Ponderosa for dinner. This idiot driver(lady pulled out in front of us. DH slammed on the breaks. We could look in her car. Probably an inch away from her. She hesitated for a second and proceded to cut in front of us. This was on the way home. It has been realy abnormaly cold here 20*. In the low teens at night. DH had to help our neighbor move a ref. First the doors had to come off. Then two guys had to lift the ref. over a kitchen island with a sink in it. It is going in a back mud room. DH thinks our neighbor has ADHD. It has been three years since her Grandmother died and she still doesn't have the house cleaned out. She seems unable to get the job done. She isn't living in the house yet. Correction brakes. Enjoy reading about all of our adventures. Prayers appreciated for my cousin Blaine. He is in his 80s. He is in the hospital with congestive heart failure and severe anemia. He lives in Texas. Take care Ann

Congrats on post 14,000 Rail! I should have lurked and snuck in there! I missed post 80,000 over at the Mutant thread the same way! [emoji1] [emoji1]
Sure glad that wasn't a wreck Ann! People take some crazy chances.
Prayers for cousin Blaine.
What you say be the truth Popeye. You never get to study other musicians when your busy at your own shows. Others hardly get to see/hear you either.....same difference.
Road Hog and the Cadillac Cowboys were the comedic alter egos of the Statler Brothers. It started on the B side of an album with "The Saturday Morning Radio Show". It became so popular, that at least 4 whole albums were produced, and they made appearances on TV shows like Ralph Emery's. To best describe, well, listen for yourself. It's one of my side splitting favorites.

The Statler Bros . !
Priceless......
Probably a fun chore to put THAT together .Missin' lyrics , out of tune playing, COMMERCIALS !

Reminds me of some stuff I recorded back in the 80's during the death throes of DISCO . (yep , listenin'
to Disco'll do that to any musician)
I award the entire crew a "Stinkin' Badge" for bein' "Ain't Right Musicians".
( plus a pat on the back and a "good show" too)

In case you haven't figured it out yet cell phone cameras are right handed. And this forum orientates all phone picture to the up position. So, that means your camera lens need to be highest on you phone. I pads and tablets, I have NO IDEA about.

That's why your picture post upside down. Not all forum are like that BTY.

Glad you made it. Just in time too. The new cold front and rain are back.

Oh forgot to say that jeep picture looks familiar. This was me setting up to winch a guy up HELL's Gate in Moab.

Yea, he nearly rolled it on its lid and slid down the hard way.
I have 20 forwards and 4 reverses in my Rodeo (crawler gearing), so once we got him back on 4 wheels I backed back up the hill, from there, and pulled him over that ledge I'm hanging off of in the first picture. All part of the fun! You guys will love my Rodeo Towed! It's not your mommas' grocery getter.

That’s why it’s important to have tires with good grip.

Good Morning;
Going to be a lovely day.

Congratulations on 14,000 Rail. Would have been interesting if we would have all went for it. We would have had a rocket and filled a couple pages very quickly.

I figured if I posted 12 pictures and copied a large book I would have filled 999 and rolled over to 1000!

Have a wonderful day.
