Yes - the loss of a great entertainer. Apple Dumpling Gang. One of my favorite movies. I have the VHS and CD.

Hello,

Ron, very sorry about your Niece. For years asthma has not been taken as seriously as it should. Prayer for her and your family. These things are very hard.

Gordon, we have been eating asparagus for two weeks now and not sick of it yet. Very good stuff. Rhubarb is doing great too and I should be able to make pie soon.

Ted & Rail, I think of you often and keep you in my prayers. I hope the CBD info I shared helps. The couple in Yuma sure seems to have done well with it. I have been using the crème on a spot and it has reduced it almost completely. The stuff works.

Frank, I hope you find the Jeep you want. Glad you and Rita are having a good time looking around. Lots to see out there.

I had some bad news on the 6th. My niece Rhonda called me from LA. She had received a FB post that her sister Sandy had died in Florida. She called me in a panic and we started to try to find out what was going on. Finally were able to confirm that my niece Sandy was indeed dead.

She was 51 yrs old. Had gotten married January 1st and they had bought a new house 3 weeks prior and had just moved in. The news was that she put a gun to her jaw and killed herself. We were all in shock and disbelief. Could not settle to this as most families cannot.

As days went by more info started to come in about abuse from her new husband Bob. About him changing passwords on her accounts, selling her car, taking away her phone and tablet. Anger started to grow along with even more disbelief. Why did she not ask for help?

The medical examiner would not release her body because he questioned whether she killed herself or not. Didn't like what he was seeing. As far as I can find out, her body was just released. Bob will NOT talk to me. WHY??? Cannot get info on final determination yet. He wants her cremated ASAP.

Funeral is Sunday. I am not going, I cannot deal with it. Her sisters are going and going to check into things and ask questions. They had put insurance on the new house that it is paid off if she dies. Her will does NOT include him. He did not know this and is furious over it. Her friend Marcia is the executor. Marcia contacted the carrier of her 401K. All monies have been removed since her death and not by her two Grandchildren. Done electronically.

You never think this will happen in your family. I just keep thinking I will wake up and it will all be a lie but I am finally accepting it is real. Please pray for my Nieces and her children. This one is going to take a long time to heal.

Lynne

I am horrified, pissed off, broken, sad, I don't know what to do. They may never charge him. May not be able to prove anything. In my gut I know this guy caused her death.

Good evening!!!

Ron and Lynne, so sorry for your loss. Both seem like couldn't happen stories. Sad, and not the way things should happen.

Prayers your way!!!

Last Dentist apt.

Wow!! six months of many dentist apts. Finaly done as the two permanent crowns were glued in today. Student dentist must have taken the crown in and out of my mouth about 30 times. Three hrs. in the chair. Just need to get my teeth cleaned June 4th. Tomorrow is my GI DR. No news is good news. He better not charge me a copay as this is a follow up to my colonoscopy. Going to bring the HiLo in front of the house. Packing for the first camping trip of the season. Finaly going to get a few rain free days. Lawn mowing like crazy next week. Last year DH bought a Ryobi weed wacker as he liked the smaller shield. Not even a year old and the throttle cable snapped. I ordered two as I figure it will break again. The shipping was more than the part. Take care All.
