That is one nice older coach!!! No slides but that’s okay.

The weather girl is warning that conditions are really good for really bad weather today starting about 1:00 this afternoon through tomorrow morning. The chances are better the further south you are. Curtis has better odds than us but the kiddos in OKC are in the bulls eye, again. A lot of school districts closing for the day.

I’m still doing the electrical installation. It is very tedious because the circuits are a little more involved than normal. I’m running 15 amp and 20 amp circuits in the same conduits making it look simple on the outside and complicated in the conduit run.

I’m still in awe of the courage and attitudes of those battling cancer. It makes Lloyd chasing me on the calendar seem humorous, he’s never going to catch me unless I quit.

Be safe.

Nobody needs to be reminded of their birthday , and probably don't want to be reminded anyhoo.

Good Morning,

Coffee was good this morning. Starting to settle down a bit. Always hard adjusting to a death. My heart has been badly wounded and head won't shut off.

It is raining in MI way too often right now. Barely able to keep up with the yard because it is usually wet. Asparagus is growing like crazy though. Rhubarb same thing.

Still looking at Jeeps and checking out RV's occasionally. Figure if the right one comes along I will know it.

Hope everyone is doing well, Lynne

Good Morning Gang,
We are sitting in Cortez, Co. at around 6000' above sea level, and the rain has turned to the fluffy white stuff with the temps in the low 40s. And it is sticking to the rooftops, Yuck.No siteseeing today.
Lynne,
We second what Charles said.
Ted,
Hang in there, you've got this.
Rail,
Good news on the blood tests, keep it up.
Lloyd,
Happy birthday bud, we all need to keep having them for many more years together.
Harvey,
Hope the weather misses you and you don't have to use your shelter.
Everyone stay safe,
Frank

Hello again,

Charles and Frank, I do know that there are friends here to support us. Things over the last two weeks have been too hard to explain. My family isn't like this, we are rather boring, I am boring and I am ok with that. I like a simple, quiet, fun life.

Sandy getting involved with this group is hard to accept. She made poor choices and has paid the highest price for them. It will take time to work through this.

I'm working through it, may never talk about it again. Things have happened since that confirms she did NOT commit suicide. God saw though and He has her and I know she can never be hurt again.

Life is for the living and I cannot help her so I will concentrate on those that are alive. Stay safe my friends, each one of you is important to me. And thank you for the support.

Lynne

Went camping

Our first campout of the season. Drove about 70 miles to Shady Pines in Gainesville, NY. It is about 6 miles from Letchworth state park. It was with our WNY Good Sam club. Second time we had been there. We had the use of the hall with sink, stove and a wood burning stove. First morning we had a fire in the wood burning stove. Seven rigs and 13 people. Enjoyed a campfire each night. First time playing bocce ball. Tried to throw with my left hand then was able to use my right hand. Not as much pain. I see the orthopedic surgeon this thursday. Everyone brings a little something for breakfast and we did a potluck for supper. Somehow the shower house/bathrooms didn't get winterized and the pipes burst. Thanks goodness we have a bathroom in the HiLo. It pays to have short hair. Playingh catchup with our lawn mowing. So nice to have several dry days in a row. When we parked the HiLo I picked up garbage off the lot. 2nd time the neighbor had their dog chained up to our chain link fence. I asked him nicely to not chain his dog up to our fence. He stated his side was his fence. Told him we bought the fence and paid for the install. He was mumbling about calling the police because we had undid the chain prior to this incident. I don't want the dog pulling on the flimsy chain link material. He could have easily chained the dog to his fence. He chained his dog up in such a way that he runs along the fence barking as we are trying to weed wack.mow. Am I being unreasonable? The dog is small enough that I am not afraid of him. Some people are just inconsiderate jerks.

Good morning!!!!

Getting old sure beats the alternative.

Lynne, wish I had the words to make you feel better, but I don't. Can't imagine what you are going through. A crazy situation for any family. From your posts, it sounds like you are getting to the right side of this event. Lots of hugs when we all get to Yuma will surely help!!!!! :-)

Frank, sorry the global warming is missing you. Luckily you have lots of time before you are due to run further North right?

Sam, nice camping trip!

Thanks Popeye!!! Getting old is not for the weak at heart!!

I am sore. Buffing the coach, twice in many areas as I need two passes with different grits,,,, then waxing is a real workout. Sleeping like a baby however! All that is left is the front, however it will have to wait till this afternoon as the sun is on it all morning. Meanwhile I will spend the day getting the Jeep ready. We leave Thursday morning.

Have a great day all!

L.

Good Morning;
We made it back from the camping long weekend. Had a great time but . . . . global warming missed us so we were in rather cool temperatures all weekend. Along with a stiff breeze made sitting outside problematic. Had to postpone the horseshoe competition a day. Managed to spend lots of time in the camp kitchen with a roaring fire in the wood stove. Temperatures below freezing for two nights.

While we were shivering camping it was very nice at home. We were in 45 degree temperatures while at home it was 20 degrees warmer. What a difference a couple hundred kilometers can make. Apparently it snowed in Calgary.

Grass needs cutting so that is on the list. Right after the golf game today!! Does not take long as Janet runs the zero turn around all of the trees and I do the big open areas.

Sun is up and the day is going to be quite nice. Perfect temperature but at the moment there are lots of mosquitoes.

More fires threatening towns in the province. Dry weather and high winds are not helping.

May the best of your today be the worst of your tomorrow.

Hello all,

Spring in Custer. Nuff said....

6" so far, winter storm warning in effect until 9am tomorrow. Oh, and I twisted my knee badly. Lovely spring indeed.

Good Morning Gang,
Still cloudy this morning and 39* right now but the fluffy white rain has mostly gone, we got about 2" yesterday. Starting to dry out. Going on a driving tour later this morning, so should be ok. Had to change batteries in the front shade controllers and one side of the blinds too( they are battery operated. Then had to reprogram the controllers, couldn't find the directions in English, thank goodness for u-tube. Normally we don't shut the front blinds, but there is a gas station next door and the canopy lights are very bright and shine in all night. Tree branches came done yesterday with all the weight of the white stuff. Scrapped the side of the coach and trailer, doesn't look like any damage to either.
Have a great day all,
Frank

Hey Gang, haven't been on here much. Trying to setup a Birthday Party for Sally. It's kinda hard to do as she is always asking me where ya going and we are pretty much together 24/7 since we closed the shop. Have to rectify that soon, lol! Lloyd, Happy Birthday! 'Rail will see you soon , need you to kick my butt as I started back with the cigs!
Lynne, so sorry about your niece Sandy we will talk in Maine soon. Hope they nail her Husbands butt to the chair! Everyone be well and be safe. Bobby
